BCIHS Terms

British Columbia Institute of Holistic Studies, herein referred to as BCIHS.

All course fees related to a lesson taken shall be paid in full prior to starting the next lesson. Once paid, all course fees are non-refundable.

A qualification shall be granted only upon satisfactory completion of the theory and practical portions of that course, as well, the completion of case studies, other assigned work, and full payment of all fees.

Travel, accommodation and attendance for tutorials, practical periods, instruction and scheduled examinations are the responsibility of the student.

Students who miss a tutorial period of aromatherapy instruction may be permitted to complete the lesson by correspondence or by attending another class upon payment of an additional fifty dollars, CAN$50, taxes included. 

Correspondence students who fail to complete any course within six months will be considered to have abandoned the course. They may resume the course upon payment of a small administrative fee not exceeding CAN$50.

***Aromatherapy students will be required to give or receive massage. As students may be of either sex, anyone who may experience difficulty with this must inform BCIHS before the course commences. Arrangements may be made to accommodate a student's concerns. BCIHS retains the right to terminate any student of any course if they refuse to conduct or receive a massage, once their personal concerns have been addressed.  Course fees are non-refundable.
